MODENAS recently launched its new Pulsar NS160 naked streetbike for the local market, setting a sales target of 1,500 units a year.
Scheduled to go on sale next October, the model was first launched in India in 2017. The
NS160 power is powered by a 160.3cc SOHC single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with DTS-i dual-spark ignition technology and oil refinement , while transmission uses a 5- speed (6-speed for NS200).
On the road, this streetbike is capable of generating a maximum power of 15.20hp and a torque of 14.60Nm.
The sale price of RM7,577 is certainly attractive and competitive in the 150cc to 200cc motorcycle market. The engine dimensions are designed for young riders and enthusiasts in the dynamic riding style, exactly the NS200 model.
The two colors, white and blue options highlight the NS160’s sporty character . The headset is paired with a cluster of digital and analog instruments that display machinery and riding information. The braking system is delivered to a set of twin hydraulic disc brakes with 17-inch wheels wrapped in 90/90 tires (front) and 110/80 (rear).
The Pulsar NS160 suspension system is equipped with a Nitrox monoshock suitable for short and medium-range rides both in the city and inland. The capacity of the 12 liter petrol tank is capable of traveling 400km. Not bad!
The fiery and sporty body design features LED technology for headlights and signal lights.
