Honda CBR1000RR-R FireBlade 2020

Motorcycle – The latest Honda CBR1000RR-R FireBlade or model year (MY) 2020 has just been launched. The street version of Marc Marquez’s motorcycle is equipped with many new features. Honda CBR1000RR-R FireBlade 2020 cool after messing up!

The latest sports motorbike from Honda is inspired by Marquez’s RC213V. One of them is the swing arm or swing arm which is identical to that of the RC213V-S. This swing arm has a length of 622.7 mm or 30.5 mm longer than the previous generation. But the weight is the same as the previous version CBR1000RR swing arm.

The new swing arm is designed to have horizontal stiffness reduced by 15%, but vertically it aims to improve rear wheel grip.

3 Little Wings

Like the motorbike used in MotoGP, the latest CBR1000RR-R is also equipped with 3 small wings (winglet) right and left which are hidden to add down force. So the aerodynamics of this motor are very good.

For the CBR1000RR-R SP front suspension using Ohlins NPX S-EC (Electronic Control) type and rear TTX-36 S-EC type. While the Standard version uses suspension from Showa.

In the braking section, the CBR1000RR-R FireBlade SP version is equipped with a front rate reduction device from Brembo. Typically Stylema monoblock 4 piston radial mount, this type is claimed to be 7% lighter but still rigid.

The brake and brake lever master is also from Brembo. While for the Standard version using devices from Nissin.

In the electronic system section, the CBR1000RR-R is now equipped with a launch control, where this device is useful to facilitate and smooth the start when racing. The launch control can be set in several engine speed limiter options, from 6,000, 7,000, 8,000 and 9,000 rpm. 

Start even smoother because the quick shifters have become the motor standard. Still from the electronic system, there is also a feature choice of ABS mode.

There are two choices of driving modes namely Sports Mode for more use on the road, and Track Mode for driving on the circuit. Its performance also works closely with Rear Lift Control.

The instrument panel working system is assisted with an IMU 6 axic. This instrument panel can also display the angle of the motor. In addition, the IMU 6 axic also manages the Traction Control and Wheelie Control features
