One of the rarest cars ever issued by a car manufacturer known as the bull logo is reportedly going to enter an auction. The car is the 2015 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. The hard-top model from the first Veneno was shown publicly at the Geneva Motor Show, making the car itself based on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Lamborghini. One year later the topless version of the roadster was released to accommodate the request for the roadster version of Lamborghini Veneno.
Veneno is an example of the product of Lamborghini’s views about what legal racing cars are used on public roads. The designers at Centri Stile Lamborghini make Veneno become one of the most aerodynamically designed cars of this Italian car line. How not, inspired by the Le Mans Veneno car has a form that maximizes the use of downforce to make it get awesome hadling and stability around the corner.
Limited to only 5 units made for the hardtop version and 9 units for the roadster version, the Veneno is made from the base of the Lamborghini Aventador but looks more extreme. Using a naturally aspirated engine configuration, this car is capable of producing power of 750HP, 50HP greater than the Aventador LP700-4. Each body detail is made to minimize air resistance while channeling air flow into the engine room and cools its energy source in the form of a 6.5 liter V12 engine. The result is the Veneno is able to touch 0-100 Km / h in just 2.8 seconds.
The Veneno’s appearance is wrapped in matte black colored paint with a slight touch of lime green which can be found on the front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser. The color theme can also be found in the interior, lime green accents can be found on the seat, dashboard, and center console.
The car which was made using carbon fiber material chassis is the second of nine units. This car was previously owned by a member of the royal family of Saudi Arabia, and during his life only drove as far as 450 km. This rare Veneno is planned to be auctioned by RM Sotheby Auction in Paris on February 5, and it is estimated that the value will be able to reach a price of 6 million USD or around 81 billion IDR.
