TOYOTA is synonymous with Land Cruiser, while Mitsubishi is well known for its Pajero. What about Nissan? Yes, Nissan also has the same competitor product, the name Patrol, but many do not know because the model is not available for the Malaysian market.
Nissan has just introduced an easy-to-use version of the 6th-generation Patrol through the same window silhouette. Basically, the look of the Patrol (2020) is completely changed through the matching of the LED headlamps and the dual-color LED daylight (DRL) lamps as a new Nissan feature.
In addition, the V-Motion’s signature grille is now larger with four layers of chrome bar across the center of the grille. The new front bumper looks more modern and sporty.
The Patrol Rim (2020) looks elegant with a new design, while the side mirrors are offered in black with body color.
Accessories fender and roof rail is retained, while the protector (molding) side of the body with renewed stirrup. From the back looks a new LED light, as well as a two-layer bumper and a chrome finish across the number plate. The rear bumper is also sporty like the aggressive bumper with the skid plate underneath.
The cabin space uses a darker tone compared to the previous model. The Patrol dashboard (2020) stays the same as the dashboard’s center console with two screens. Packaged ppholstery of brown material with unique embroidery patents.
The top screen serves as a Multi-Info Display (MID) complete with navigation features, while the bottom screen is an infotainment unit and air conditioning control.
Patrol (2020) is offered in two variants of the engine:
- 4.0L V6 (275hp, 394Nm) – Has safety features such as emergency brakes with pedestrian detection and smart front brake warning (i-FCW)
- 5.6L V8 (400hp, 560Nm) – Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HBMC) and Nissan All-Mode 4×4 mode system .
